Meet Vanessa

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. With formal training in both psychology and psychotherapy, I draw from multiple modalities that allow me to adapt to, and meet you where you are. These include cognitive behavioural, process-based, humanistic, and psychodynamic approaches. Where helpful, I also integrate creative and somatic practices to support you with emotional insight, mind–body connection, and nervous system regulation.

I stay informed by developments in neuroscience, as well as philosophical perspectives – all of which enrich my interest in holistic mental health and sustainable wellbeing. More recently, I’ve completed professional studies and clinical training in the field of psychedelic therapy, as part of a broader integrative approach to health and care, and continue to be involved in professional level discussions about this emerging field. 

No matter the modality we use together, and whether our focus is practical and skills based, or reflective and exploratory, I aim to make therapy feel natural, safe, and grounded. My goal as your therapist is to create a space where you can explore what matters to you, understand yourself more deeply, and learn new ways of responding to what challenges you, so that you can live more fully, boldly, and vibrantly.
