Individual Therapy

£120 / 50min session

For Treatment & Assistance with:

- Mood, Depression and Anxiety based conditions

- Stress

- Relationship issues

- Grief and Loss

- Trauma

- Being a Carer

- IBS

Sessions can take place at one of our locations or remotely, generally via Zoom. Your initial session will form part of an assessment and includes a discussion about treatment modalities,  including which therapy you feel best aligns with you. Brief and longer-term therapy programs are possible and your psychologist can help guide you in this.

Music & Imagery Therapy

£160 - First session 1.5-2h; £120 - subsequent sessions 50mins)

Music & Imagery (MI) Therapy is a modern and brief form of person-centered music psychotherapy that draws from psychodynamic principles. It  combines listening to pre-recorded music and spontaneous drawing to help one creatively address an issue or difficulty. For example, MI therapy can support those who experience low to moderate levels of stress, anxiety, anger, grief; lack self-esteem; experience dissatisfaction in their work or personal life; are in relationship conflict; or are facing important decision making challenges. In a supported space, MI Therapy will allow you to creatively investigate your internal process, develop new insights and enhance your ability to cope and move forward with life's challenges.

Health Insurance Policy Holders

Cigna, Aviva, Vitality Health, AXA PPP, Bupa, Bupa International, Healix, WPA, Health-Online, Freedom, The Exeter

Our psychological services are covered by most major health insurers. Each company works differently and you may need to seek pre-authorisation from your provider before attending your first appointment with us.

Please note that insurance companies do not cover the cost of missed appointments or late cancellations. These costs are the responsibility of each client.

Do not hesitate to get in touch if you require help or guidance about how to navigate the pre-approval process.

CORONA-VIRUS UPDATE: Most, if not all insurance companies are providing their usual level of coverage for therapy conducted online, even in those instances where they do not usually cover remote sessions.

Cancellations & Late Arrivals

48hour Notice Policy

We kindly ask 48 hours notice to be provided when cancelling or rescheduling appointments. This allows other clients the opportunity to fill your appointment time.  

Cancellations with more than 24hours but less than 48hours notice are charged a flat fee of £25. 

Regrettably, notice of 24hours or less will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% of your appointment cost.

To ensure prompt response, we kindly ask that notice within the 48h period be provided by text or phone call.
If you arrive late for an appointment, your session will finish at the scheduled time so that any following clients are not impacted. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this process.

Payment

Bank Transfer

Initial consultations typically require payment 24hours in advance by bank transfer to secure confirmation of the appointment. For all subsequent appointments, fees are payable by bank transfer, in advance or by invoice. In the case of pre-authorised sessions, we will typically bill your insurance company directly.

 

Please note that psychological services are VAT exempt, so VAT will not be added to your invoice.
